An anti-ship mine exploded on the beach near Odessa: what is known

On the evening of June 21, an enemy anti-ship mine was once again thrown ashore on one of the beaches of the Odessa region and detonated. Fortunately, no one was injured in the blast.

This was announced by the head of the Odessa regional military administration Maxim Marchenko.

– Once again, I remind you of the ban on visiting beaches and swimming in the sea, – said the head of the region in a video message.

According to local media, the mine hit the shore near one of the recreation centers in Sychavka.

The blast shattered several windows and damaged the shutters of the holiday home.

Recently, a man who wanted to relax with his family exploded on a mine on the beaches of Odessa region.

While the mother and son were unpacking, the father decided to check the depth and temperature of the water. In a few minutes there was an explosion in the water, the man received injuries incompatible with life.
