Kherson detains collaborator who threatened with execution for refusal to vote at “referendum”

A collaborator of the Party of Regions, banned in Ukraine, who threatened to be shot for refusing to “vote” at the pseudo-referendum, was detained in Kherson.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine, after the capture of Kherson, the resident voluntarily cooperated with the enemy and offered her assistance in a full-scale war against Ukraine.
– For this she received a Russian passport and “appointment” to the ranks of the Russian occupation administration. There she headed the “precinct election commission” created by the aggressor. Being in the “position”, the collaborator performed Moscow’s tasks to organize and conduct an illegal referendum in the temporarily occupied part of the South of Ukraine, – the SBU noted.
In particular, the collaborator launched a broad campaign in support of a fake plebiscite in one of the districts of Kherson. According to the investigation, she personally went around the houses and demanded from people to put the necessary “mark in the ballots”, and in case of refusal immediately “appealed” to the armed Russian military who accompanied her.
After that, the occupants broke into the homes of Ukrainians and threatened to shoot them, and after the liberation of Kherson, the collaborator tried to be “invisible” to avoid criminal responsibility. During the detention, the offender was found to have a passport of a Russian citizen and a party ticket of a pro-Russian party.
The suspect was served a notice of suspicion of collaboration, participation in the organization and holding of illegal elections and/or referendums in the temporarily occupied territory, committed by a group of persons (Part 2 Art. 28 and Part 5 Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The court imposed on her custody as a measure of restraint.
