Children ran with burning backpacks: eyewitnesses tell about helicopter crash in Brovary
On the morning of January 18, residents of Brovary (Kyiv region) first heard an airplane in the sky, and then a sound similar to an explosion. Later it turned out that a helicopter had crashed in the yard of a house next to a kindergarten.
Students from a nearby school said they saw children running with burning backpacks.
According to eyewitnesses, panic broke out, but the children were taken out of the kindergarten and none of them were injured.

According to the latest reports, the Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, his first deputy Yevhen Yenin and the State Secretary were killed in a helicopter crash in Brovary on January 18.
They were in the helicopter of the State Emergency Service.
