Today, on February 10, during a massive enemy missile attack, two Russian Kalibr cruise missiles entered the airspace of Moldova and later Romania, a NATO country.

This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.

According to him, after flying over the territories of the two countries, Russian missiles re-entered the airspace of Ukraine.

The enemy launched the missiles from the Black Sea.

Yuriy Ihnat, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, said that our air defense was able to shoot down the two Kalibr missiles, but did not do so immediately due to the risks and threats to the population of a foreign country.

Earlier, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military District Administration, Vitaliy Kim, said that one Russian missile had transited through Moldova and Romania to western Ukraine.

– “One missile in the airspace of Moldova (still in transit),” he wrote.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that Russian missiles have entered Moldovan airspace.

For example, on December 5, a missile landed in the border town of Briceni in Moldova. At the time, the country’s authorities did not say whether it was a Russian missile.

The speaker of the Moldovan parliament, Igor Grosu, said that the blame for the missile falling near Briceni would lie entirely with Russia.
