A former employee of the “migration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR” moved to Kyiv at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion under the guise of an internally displaced person from the east and planned to flee abroad.

However, the SBU CI established her whereabouts and detained her in a rented apartment.

The woman was served a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (participation in the activities of paramilitary or armed groups not provided for by law). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 8 years.

In September 2014, a resident of Donetsk region voluntarily went to work for the enemy and was appointed a “senior inspector of the address and reference work department” of the so-called migration service of the DPR Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The suspect assisted local gauleiters in suppressing the resistance movement by collecting data on local residents.
In addition, she kept records of so-called watch cards, which contained information about Ukrainian patriots.

During the searches, law enforcement officers found a “work book” confirming her work for the occupation regime.
