Night rocket attack: 86 houses were damaged in Dnipropetrovsk region, 34 people were injured
At night, the Russian army shelled the Dnipropetrovsk region with cruise missiles – residential buildings were hit, many people were injured.
This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiу Lysak.
Updated at 10:49 am. 34 people, including five children, were injured by a rocket strike in the Pavlograd district. The youngest girl is only 8 years old.
People have bruises, fractures, cuts and lacerations, contusions, poisoning by combustion products. Two women, 45 and 55 years old, are in intensive care. The rest are treated on an outpatient basis.
Forces of the Eastern Air Command shot down seven enemy missiles over the region. But there are also hits in the Pavlograd district. Previously, 25 people were injured. Three of them are children.
In Pavlograd, an industrial enterprise caught fire from the impact, rescuers put the fire under control.
In the residential area, 19 high-rise buildings, 25 private houses, six schools and pre-school education institutions, and five shops were mutilated.
There is also destruction in the communities of the district. Almost 40 residential buildings were broken into in Verbkivska, two in Yuryivska. A school was damaged in the Mezhirytskyi community.
All services work at the sites of attacks.
Updated at 11:25 p.m. Mayor Anatoly Vershina confirmed the information about the explosions in Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk region, during the air raid alert.
Local authorities urge people not to move around the city and stay as far away from windows as possible. The air alert in the region still continues.

Smoke from the fire can now be seen in the sky above the city. What exactly is burning is currently unknown, according to eyewitnesses and local social media communities.
Updated at 10:11 p.m. So far, there is no official information why the sounds of explosions could be heard in the Dnipropetrovsk region – due to the impact of enemy shells or it was a successful operation of air defense.
As of 22:11, an air alert signal is sounding in Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk regions and temporarily occupied Crimea.
