Rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of an enemy attack in Ternopil
In Ternopil, rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of a nighttime rocket attack.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Previously, cruise missile debris hit the warehouse, which led to a fire. Two fires were detected at the crash sites.
– The State Emergency Service is working at the scene. A total of 18 vehicles and 80 personnel are involved in extinguishing the fires, – the statement said.
As a result of the incident, 2 people were injured. Preliminary shrapnel wounds and burns. The victims are in hospitals. They are being provided with all necessary assistance.
– At 01:52, the first fire was contained, and at 02:28, the second fire was extinguished. The fire is currently being extinguished,” the State Emergency Service said.
Around 5 am on 14 May, the town was attacked by the enemy for the second time. The explosions, likely caused by rocket fragments, damaged civilian buildings and cars.
