Serhiу Popko , head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the Russian air attack on the capital of Ukraine.
– Desperate terrorists attack the capital almost non-stop. In the last 6 days, the Rashists have already carried out the 6th airstrike on the city! And each time the enemy changed weapons. After the ballistic missiles the day before, this time the attack was combined – drones and cruise missiles at the same time, – he said.
Popko says that the missiles were launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian region, probably by Kh-101 /555 cruise missiles.
– Simultaneously, from different directions, Kyiv was attacked by UAVs, according to preliminary data, Shahed barrage munitions. But our air defense are just titans, – he added.
According to preliminary information, more than 30 air targets of various types were detected and destroyed by air defense forces and means in the airspace over Kyiv and around Kyiv, Popko said, noting, however, that the final data on the number and type of missiles and UAVs will be reported by the Air Force.
Currently, there is no information about the destruction and victims, but the data is being collected and verified.
