In his victory speech, Orban criticized Brussels and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, calling them opponents.

We have never had so many opponents. Brussels bureaucrats… leading international media and the president of Ukraine, – Orban said.

Earlier, Zelenskyy repeatedly criticized Orban’s ban on the transfer of weapons to Ukraine. Although the Prime Minister of Hungary condemned the military invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine.

According to the BBC, Orban has had a difficult relationship with the European Union. The EU believes Fidesz has undermined Hungary’s democratic institutions. And during his 12 years, Orban rewrote the constitution, filled the top courts with his appointees, and changed the electoral system in his favor.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and his Progressive Party will also run for a second term.

According to preliminary data, Vucic is gaining almost 60% of the vote, and the Progressive Party will retain its leadership in the National Assembly with more than 40% of the vote.

Aleksandar Vucic said he was proud of the huge support of the people and called his campaign “the purest and most beautiful in the history of Serbia”.

As priorities for the second term, he named the continuation of the development of Serbia, attracting foreign investment and ensuring peace and stability. He also indicated that he would seek to maintain Belgrade’s traditional ties with Moscow while continuing negotiations on EU membership.

The most important thing is good relations in the region, but also  – not breaking ties with traditional friends, – Alexander Vucic said.
