1.2 million people are going to be mobilized in Russia – mass media

As part of the mobilization in Russia, 1.2 million citizens are going to be drafted into the army.

This was reported by Meduza with reference to an interlocutor close to one of the federal ministries.

It is noted that they want to mobilize up to 16,000 people in Moscow, and about 3,200 people are going to be called to war in St. Petersburg.

From the regional centers, the leadership of the Russian Federation recommended mobilizing at a minimum.

– They go to rural areas, there are no mass media, opposition and more support (war – Ed.), – said the interlocutor.

We will remind that on September 21, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, announced a partial mobilization. According to official data, the aggressor plans to call up “300,000 reservists” to the army.

However, the mass media reported that a classified clause in the Russian dictator’s decree on mobilization would allow one million Russians to be called up.

In Russia, Putin’s decision to mobilize caused panic and discontent among citizens, mass protests began in many districts and cities.
