Winter clothing and artillery shells: Canada will provide Ukraine with a $47 million aid package

Canada announced new military aid to Ukraine in the amount of $47 million.

The head of the Canadian Defense Ministry, Anita Anand, has announced the new package of military aid at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.

It includes winter clothing and equipment, artillery shells and communication technology.

  • 500,000 units of winter military clothing;
  • artillery shells worth $15.2 million;
  • provision of satellite communication in the amount of $2 million.

Today, October 12, Germany announced that in the coming weeks it will transfer Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers and Mars II multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine.

Recently, it became known that Ukraine received a batch of the German IRIS-T air defense system.

According to German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht, this is the first of four IRIS-T SLM air defense systems to be delivered within days.
