Today it became known that on November 24, an envelope with explosives was delivered to the residence of the Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez in Moncloa.
This was reported by the local edition of ABC.es.
The letter was addressed to the Prime Minister.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the letter was destroyed. Later it was reported that similar letters were brought to the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid, but that envelope exploded in the hands of an employee of the diplomatic institution.
Parcels with explosives were also delivered to the air base of the Spanish Armed Forces in the municipality of Torrejon de Ardos and to the office of the Instalaza arms company in Zaragoza.
Today the same envelope was brought to the building of the Ministry of Defense at Paseo de la Castellan.
Currently, Spanish law enforcement agencies are investigating all episodes.
