The Kremlin is obviously concerned about anti-war sentiment in Russia.
This is how the intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain explained the traditional press conference of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, which was canceled for the first time in 10 years.
– The press conference is an important event in the calendar of public events of the head of the Kremlin and was often used as an opportunity to demonstrate Putin’s alleged honesty, – British intelligence emphasizes.
However, despite the fact that the questions to the head of the Kremlin are most likely checked in advance, officials are apparently worried that at the event, where Putin will be present, an unauthorized discussion of a “special military operation” could suddenly begin.

Kremlin spokesman Dmytro Peskov did not give the reasons for the cancellation of the annual event.
