The repair of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure after the Russian missile attacks is complicated by a shortage of the necessary components.

The US and its partners faced the problem of disrupting the global supply chain of equipment needed for repair.
Washington is trying to solve this problem together with the private sector.
– Some of the critical power grid repair components used in the United States are not compatible in Ukraine because they are designed to operate on different frequency bands. The US hopes that the provision of additional air defense systems will help Ukraine resist Russian attacks on critical infrastructure, so that the equipment provided by the States and its partners is not destroyed, the article says.
In the short term, the American side is trying to determine the location of critical infrastructure objects of priority for Ukraine, which will be used to provide critical services, such as water and heat supply, even in the event of a blackout.
