Poland is ready for non-standard solutions if Germany does not allow to give Leopard tanks to Ukraine – Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Pawel Jablonski said that Poland is ready for non-standard solutions if Germany is against sending Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
Jablonski said this on the air of Polish radio RMF24.
According to him, Poland is ready for decisive and non-standard actions, even if it offends someone.
– If there is strong resistance (to the sending of Leopard tanks, – Ed.), we will also be ready for non-standard measures, even if it offends someone, but we will not run ahead of the facts. We will try to have as many countries as possible effectively influence Germany together with us, – said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavel Jablonski.
He noted that this is the essence of diplomacy, to persuade partners to take certain actions – to change their opinion about some things. This has already happened many times.
Jablonski repeated the statement of Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who previously made it clear that Poland could send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine as part of a larger coalition even without Germany’s consent.
– Consent here is of secondary importance, we will either get this consent quickly, or we will do what we consider necessary, – said Morawiecki.
Earlier, the Minister of Defense of Germany Boris Pistorius said that the issue of the transfer of Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine is possible, certain points are currently being clarified.
In addition, the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Kajsa Ollongren said that the Netherlands is ready to pay for the delivery of Leopard tanks to Ukraine as part of a coalition of allied countries.
