Hawk and Patriot missiles: the US is preparing a new $2 billion aid package for Ukraine

The United States is preparing to announce another package of military aid to Ukraine, which will include a significant strengthening of air defenses.
This is reported by the Bloomberg agency.
Funding will go toward the purchase of Hawk launchers and missiles and two types of modern Patriot air defense missiles. One of them is the Patriot Advanced Capability Missile-3, or Pac-3, manufactured by Lockheed Martin Corp. The other is called the Guidance Enhanced Missile, or GEM-T, made by Raytheon.
Watching now
GEM-T missiles, as the manufacturer notes, better hit tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles or enemy aircraft.
Last November, the US announced that it would supply the Hawk systems from its own stockpiles.
