Lychakiv District Court of Lviv has chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention of Viktor Medvedchuk.
According to the State Bureau of Investigation, on March 18 the investigating judge granted the SBI investigator’s request to choose a measure of restraint for the People’s Deputy and godfather of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The election of a measure of restraint will take place in the manner prescribed by Part 6 of Art. 193 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine, ie in the absence of the defendant.
Earlier, Viktor Medvedchuk was declared internationally wanted.
