A threat of an offensive attack on Ukraine from Belarus is assessed as high – The AFU`s General Staff
The threat of an offensive attack in Volyn’s direction of Ukraine from the Republic of Belarus is high as per militarian assessment.
The journalists have been informed about the same by the General Staff of AFU. However, our military personnels affirmed that the defensive forces of Ukraine are ready to fight back.
Vadym Denysenko, the advisor for the Minister of Internal Affairs had been also saying that the russian occupiers were approaching the border between Belarus and Ukraine and might attempt to cross it.
Besides, the diplomats from Belarus left Ukraine lately. This also is a certain alarm signal.
– I would assess a situation of the possibility of joining the current armed conflict by Belarus as 60 to 40. A week ago that was 40 to 60, although I think Lukashenko will be doing everything he could for not including Belorasian army to the downright action, – Denysenko said in the air of ICTV channel.
According to the advisor for the Minister of Internal Affairs, the amount of the Belorusian army is approximately 40 thousand troops. Vadym Denysenko emphasized, Ukrainian defenders on the West are completely prepared to repel such an attack.
