On March 22, the Lithuanian Union of Journalists published an appeal to Russian counterparts in Russian and English. In the text, they harshly criticized the disinformation in the Russian media during Russia’s aggression against Georgia in 2008 and the annexation of Crimea in 2014. Now, according to European journalists, the Russian audience “hears about Nazis who exist only in the maniacal mind of a frail coward who closed in a deep bunker even from their own accomplices. ”
EU media have stated that the propagandists are directly responsible for the war in Ukraine and have announced an international search for Simonyan.

Earlier the Office of the Prosecutor General informed Russian propagandists Dmitry Kiselev and Olga Skabeeva of suspicion because of calls for armed aggression against Ukraine.
