There is an active movement of Russian and Belarusian military equipment in Belarus – the General Staff
On the 28th day of Russia’s large-scale war against Ukraine, the Armed Forces continue to conduct a defense operation in the Eastern, Southeastern and North-Eastern directions.
According to the General Staff, in the eastern direction, operational groups of troops operate in Donetsk, Slobozhansky and the eastern part of the Tavriya operational districts. They do not allow the enemy to resume the attack on Sloviansk and part of the forces on Lozova. Restrain the advance of the enemy in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.
The Ukrainian defenders hold back the advance of the invaders in the direction of Popasna and Kurakhove, hold the all-round defence of Mariupol.
In the North-Eastern direction, the main efforts are concentrated on covering the state border, holding back the enemy offensive in the Malin area. In the Sivershchyna, the Armed Forces hold the defence of Chernihiv and hold back the advance of the enemy in the direction of Kyiv.
A defense operation is being carried out in the South-Eastern direction, Ukrainian defenders support the actions of ground forces and individual units, defend bases and seaports in the Black Sea operational zone. The defence of Mykolaiv and the settlements of the Mykolaiv region continues.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the enemy in the direction of Kryvyi Rih and Novovorontsovka, are conducting a stabilization operation, and performing tasks of territorial defence.
At the same time, the General Staff noted the active actions of enemy aircraft and strikes using missiles over the past 24 hours. But the Air Force is repulsing concentrated missile and air strikes and an enemy air attack, and is providing air defense cover for important Ukrainian facilities and groupings of troops.
More than 17 enemy air targets had been shot down in the previous day (six planes, five UAVs, one helicopter and five cruise missiles). In addition, the aircraft of the Air Force dealt devastating blows to the accumulation of equipment and manpower.
Meanwhile, covert mobilization continues in Russia to make up for the losses of the invading troops. Military commissariats are trying to attract former servicemen to serve and sign relevant contracts, with preference given to those who already have combat experience.
On the territory of Belarus, representatives of opposition forces and concerned citizens, who condemn the assistance of the current illegitimate government of the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine, have partially disrupted the railway connection between Belarus and Ukraine. The information is being clarified.
At the same time, according to available information, Russian and Belarusian military equipment is being actively moved and further accumulated along the Ukrainian border.
The enemy is demoralized in some areas. Thus, during the storming of the city of Mariupol, in one of the special forces involved in active hostilities, less than 10% of the personnel are ready to continue participating in the war. The rest of the personnel are killed, wounded, sick or demoralized.
