Since the beginning of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, more than 350 saboteurs have been detained -Security Service of Ukraine
Since February 24, i.e. since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the SSU officers have liquidated more than 20 SRGs and detained more than 350 saboteurs.
Work on exposing Russian intelligence agents continues. Attempts by the aggressor country to send militants from the Middle East to Ukraine have also been neutralized. In particular, the SSU detained a person who was engaged in the selection and recruitment of mercenaries for the Russian army.
In the last few days alone, a Russian sabotage group posing as a territorial defense unit has been destroyed in Kyiv, and more than 10 spies involved in war crimes in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast have been exposed.
The special services also detained Russian agents who were collecting data on electronic warfare devices and drones of Ukrainian military units, and in Zaporizhzhia they neutralized attempts by the occupiers to carry out so-called federalization through agents’ entry into local authorities.
In addition, with the assistance of the SSU, 89 Youtube channels of Russian media and Kremlin propagandists were blocked, as well as thousands of social media accounts through which disinformation was spread or data on the deployment and movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were transmitted.
