Russian troops continue to shell the Chernihiv region, despite promises to “reduce hostilities.”

This was announced by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.

– The enemy demonstrated a “reduction in activity” in the Chernihiv region by striking Nizhyn, including air strikes, and spent the whole night hitting Chernihiv. Civil infrastructure has been destroyed again, libraries, shopping malls and other facilities have been destroyed, and many houses have been destroyed. Because, in fact, the enemy roamed Chernihiv all night, – he said.

On March 29, another round of talks between Ukraine and Russia took place in Istanbul. The Ukrainian delegation presented its official proposals for a new system of security guarantees for Ukraine.

At the same time, the head of the Russian delegation, Volodymyr Medinsky, stated that the Russian invaders had decided to “radically” reduce hostilities in the direction of Chernihiv and Kyiv regions.

This was explained by the fact that the relevant basic decisions will be made in Kyiv and conditions should be created for further normal work.

However, at night, air raids were heard in both Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.

Russia’s large-scale war against Ukraine has been going on for 35 days. Putin’s troops continue to shell Ukrainian cities.
