The AFU restored the connection between Chernihiv and Central Ukraine

The connection between Chernihiv and Central Ukraine was restored. From now on, the local inhabitants, medical personnel, and volunteers with humanitarian aid can reach Chernihiv.

This information was officially confirmed by Viktor Nikoliuk, the Commander of  Operational Command North on April 4th.

He added, that apart from the bridges’ restoration, the military along with the law enforcement representatives, and the local authorities were demining the surrounding areas.

As of today the military from Operational Command North are conducting the events of the connection’s restoration between Chernihiv and the Central part of our motherland Ukraine. We do everything to ensure the movement of our inhabitants.

This includes the demining of land, as well as mending or repairing of bridges, which were blown up by the enemy during forces withdrawal. 

From today onward the local people, volunteers, and medical personnel will be able to use this route.
