In Nova Kakhovka “meeting” with “dressed” failed, and in Kherson occupiers dispersed the peaceful action

On Sunday, April 10, in Kherson, Russian invaders dispersed a peaceful rally. At the same time, in the town of Nova Kakhovka, the occupiers took several dozen “uniformed men” to a so-called rally.
According to Yuriy Sobolevsky, First Deputy Chairman and Chief of Staff of the Kherson Regional Council, a peaceful rally took place on April 10 in the square near the Jubilee Cinema and Concert Hall in Kherson.
It was dedicated to the memory of the victims of Russian aggression.
– As expected, the occupiers dispersed him. Threats of violence, terror, lies, humanitarian catastrophe. This is what they brought to the Kherson region. Many people are intimidated, many have left the region at their own risk, many have simply disappeared, and it is impossible to establish what happened to them today. Each new rally is a very big risk for each participant, and still people come out, – Sobolevsky emphasized.
According to the Suspilne TV channel, shots were fired from the Jubilee in the center of Kherson. Weapons were used by Russian invaders to disperse civilians.
The participants of the rally confirmed to journalists that the Russian military was not allowed to hold the event. They concentrated at the scene and fired warning shots. Fortunately, none of the Kherson residents were injured.
Meanwhile, in the town of Nova Kakhovka, which was also temporarily captured by Russian troops, the occupiers organized a pseudo-rally. As the deputy of the Kherson regional council Sergiy Khlan informed, for this pro-Russian “action” the Russian invaders gathered several tens “dressed” men.
They stood with tricolors in an empty square near the Youth Cinema.
– The Russians in Nova Kakhovka are trying to make a picture, but again they fail. Dozens of dressed men with tricolor rags? And why are the occupiers so far apart? They don’t even know how to do it, because they are subconsciously afraid to gather for rallies? Do they leave room to stick people in Photoshop? – said Khlan.
For comparison, the deputy published a photo from a Ukrainian rally in occupied Nova Kakhovka. In this regard, he stressed that in the Kherson region there will never be any pseudo-formations like the “KPR”, because “here is Ukraine”.
Yuri Sobolevsky, in turn, released a video of a pseudo-rally of the occupiers. He called the action a “clown show” attended by only a few dozen people with Russian tricolors.
For comparison, Sobolevsky also released a video of a Ukrainian rally in captured Kakhovka, in which thousands of Ukrainian citizens took part.
– The difference is the size of the abyss. It is the gap between the actions and thoughts of free-spirited Ukrainians and occupiers. When thousands come to a pro-Ukrainian rally and at their own request, they are actions of the call of the heart. When there are several dozen, I doubt even that they are citizens of our state, with the flag of the nation of murderers trying to make at least some picture of the rally – these are actions purely within the theatrical performance. The occupiers are firing at the Ukrainian rally and dispersing it en masse, while the pro-Russian one is being honestly guarded along the perimeter – he stressed, adding that the Kherson region is Ukraine.
What is happening in the Kherson region
As you know, on the first day of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, February 24, Russian troops entered the Kherson region from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea.
The Russian occupiers were able to capture Kherson, but the city’s residents strongly opposed them, protesting.
Rallies against the occupiers are taking place in other cities of the Kherson region. Increasingly, Russian invaders are dispersing people, opening fire.
At the same time, the occupiers are kidnapping people. According to Kherson Mayor Igor Kolikhayev, Russian invaders abducted more than 100 city residents (activists, ex-servicemen, foreigners, and journalists).
According to the Kherson City Council, 300,000 people in the city suffer from food and medicine shortages.
And in Nova Kakhovka, the occupiers are using local printing houses to prepare campaign materials for a “referendum” on the creation of the so-called “KPR”.
