Active hostilities in the Donbas may begin soon – the Defense Ministry
Russia has almost completed preparations for the offensive in the Donbass. This means that hostilities in Luhansk and Donetsk regions may begin in the near future.
This information was shared during a briefing on April 11 by the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzyanyk. At the same time, he assured that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are ready to give the enemy a decent rebuff in all directions.
– According to our information, the invaders has moved to the phase of completing the restoration of its units and transferring them to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. We predict that active hostilities will begin in these areas in the near future. At the same time, the Ukrainian army is ready for this.
We can’t predict when this will happen, according to Western sources. At the same time, the enemy has almost finished preparations for the offensive operation, – said Oleksandr Motuzyanyk.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also added that the number of Russian regular troops along the line of demarcation in the Donbas has increased significantly.
