Cars, houses and a yacht: the court arrested 154 objects of the Medvedchuk family’s property

The Lychakiv district court of Lviv has seized 154 more objects of property belonging to the people’s deputy from the Opposition Platform for Life Viktor Medvedchuk and his wife Oksana Marchenko.
According to the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation, the court ruled the day before, on April 13, at the request of the State Bureau of Investigation and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
The Medvedchuk family’s movable and immovable property has been seized:
• 26 cars and 17 parking spaces;
• 30 land plots;
• 23 houses and 32 apartments;
• motor yacht;
• shares in the authorized capital of 25 companies, the beneficial owner of which is Medvedchuk or his wife.
The State Bureau of Investigation reminded that Medvedchuk’s yacht and other real estate had been arrested earlier in court.
Thus, recently it was reported about the seizure of the company’s assets, whose ultimate beneficiary is Oksana Marchenko. These are seven apartments, two property complexes, as well as vehicles and expensive art objects. And in Croatia, Medvedchuk’s yacht worth about $200 million (one of the top 5 largest yachts in the world) was arrested.

Medvedchuk was under house arrest, but with the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he escaped. On March 18, the Lychakovsky District Court of Lviv chose a measure of restraint for him in the form of detention.
And on April 12, Viktor Medvedchuk was detained by law enforcement officers while trying to escape to Transnistria.
As the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ivan Bakanov, informed, Putin’s godfather was helped to escape by corrupt law enforcement officers in Ukraine, as well as the Russian FSB. It was this special service of the Russian Federation that organized Medvedchuk’s escape to Transnistria. To this end, he even changed into the uniform of the military Armed Forces of Ukraine.
