The Russian Federation can fire Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea – the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The General Staff of Ukraine reports that the increased level of threat in the Black Sea continues.
The situation is affected by the presence of Russian warships armed with Kalibr naval-based cruise missiles.
The Ukrainian side believes that the enemy can use missile weapons on the objects of the defense-industrial complex and logistics infrastructure of Ukraine.
The danger of Kalibr cruise missiles is, in particular, in the fight range.
It reaches 375 km for sea purposes and 2,600 km for land purposes.
In the export modification, the flight range is limited to 300 km.
The wreckage of such a missile, destroyed by the Ukrainian air defense system, was recently found in the middle of a field in Vinnytsia region.
It is known that in just five days since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has launched 113 missiles in the settlements of Ukraine, including Kalibr type.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for 52 days.
