The enemy wants to resume the offensive in the South to reach the administrative borders of Kherson region

As of the 52nd day of the confrontation between the Ukrainian people and Russia, enemy attacks are aimed not only in the South, but almost throughout Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the Operational Command Pivden.

– In Mykolayiv and Kherson regions, the enemy continues to restore combat capability, trying to replenish supplies and equip positions. Apparently, the enemy is intensifying hostilities and will try to resume the offensive in order to reach the administrative borders of the Kherson region. But our forces are preparing an adequate response, – they said.

During the night, the occupiers fired on Ukrainian positions and settlements, using BMP tanks and artillery. Missile strikes hit various infrastructure facilities in the Kirovohrad and Mykolayiv regions.

During the night, the enemy lost 14 troops and four units of equipment.

The Command stressed that due to the presence of a group of Russian warships armed with cruise missiles in the Black Sea, the level of threat of missile strikes remains high.
