More than 470 planes and helicopters: volunteers calculated how much Russian equipment was destroyed by Ukrainian air defense
As of April 20, 2022, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces have destroyed 477 Russian aviation targets.
This was reported by the international volunteer community InformNapalm.
Volunteers note that almost from the very beginning of the war, Kremlin propaganda constantly asserted that our air defense was “completely destroyed”.
However, the Ukrainian air defense, three times “destroyed” by Russian propagandists, continues to steadily destroy Russian aviation.
Thus, according to the infographic prepared by InformNapalm volunteers, in February 2022 our Armed Forces eliminated 50 aircraft and helicopters of the Russian Armed Forces, in March this figure increased to 359 units, and in April it is already 477.

According to the volunteers, the Russian command may be trying to cheer up its pilots with propaganda calls before each flight.
But thanks to massive international support, Ukraine is steadily replenishing its air defense systems.
On the night of April 14-15, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian Ka-52 Alligator helicopter worth about $15 million.
