Destruction of Mariupol defenders will mean Ukraine’s exit from political talks with the Russian Federation – Podoliak

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly said that Russia’s destruction of the defenders of Mariupol would be the line when Ukraine withdraws from the political part of negotiations with Russia.
Mykhailo Podoliak, Adviser to the Head of the President’s Office, reported this in an interview on the national telethon.
He explained that the withdrawal from the negotiation process should be understood as a complete suspension of political and other components, except humanitarian.
There are currently several negotiating tables within the negotiation process: one with a political map and the other with a way out of the war. But there are some separate maps, humanitarian. That means that exchanges of prisoners, humanitarian corridors will still be in this case.
– It would not make sense to talk to the civilization that considers it possible to kill people just because it wants to kill them. Because this is no longer a war, but a genocidal technology. But, in my opinion, Russia has not yet lost the chance to sit at the negotiating table from a political point of view.
The world today demonstrates unity in the assessment of this inhuman part of Russia, believing that Russia has lost its chances to be a country of global scale, – he explained.
Mykhailo Podoliak added that today Russia is taken out of the perimeter of civilization. Therefore, in his opinion, Mariupol could become the point after which Russia will either never be able to sit at the table next to the civilized world, or can hold at least some negotiations.
Recently, the Adviser to the Head of the President’s Office Mykhailo Podoliak and the Head of the Sluha narodu faction Davyd Arakhamia confirmed the possibility of holding a special round of talks with Russia in Mariupol.
They are ready to arrive in the city blocked by the Russian military to discuss with the Russian side the evacuation of our military garrison and civilians.
