The occupiers kidnapped the Bulgarian consul in Melitopol – Mayor Fedorov

On April 23, Russian occupation forces kidnapped the Honorary Consul of Bulgaria in Melitopol.
This was announced by the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov on the national telethon.
– My colleagues were kidnapped all over the country more than 50, today 29 are in prisons of the occupiers. As for activists and businessmen – it is a common practice of the occupiers, they kidnap everyone who has an opinion or patriotic sentiment… A few hours ago it became known that the Honorary Consul of Bulgaria was kidnapped in Melitopol,” he said.
Ivan Fedorov added that the abductions by Russian invaders in Melitopol are massive.
According to the mayor of Melitopol, protests of the local population continue in the city and more than 100 Russian invaders have been killed during the guerrilla resistance of Ukrainians. He declined to give details of how the guerrilla movement in Melitopol resisted the Russian invasion, but said that certain people had come to the city to find out which of the collaborators was talking about the movement of Russian troops.
He also said that the Russian occupants are forcing the local population to fall under the “mobilization” declared by the Russian troops on the temporarily occupied territories and, according to him, there are already facts of Melitopol residents “serving” in the ranks of the Russian armed forces.
