The Russian army destroyed two schools and two dozen houses in the Luhansk region in one day

During the past 24 hours, 16 massive artillery attacks withstood the towns and villages of Luhansk region.

As a result, two schools and 20 houses were destroyed.

So, in the evening on April 29 the Russian shell hit two neighboring houses in Rubizhne. The Russian attack caused a fire and destroyed buildings.

Two more houses were on fire in Novodruzhesk. There, a squad of the State Emergency Service was able to arrive at the scene as soon as the shelling subsided.

Five more houses were damaged in Hirsky, another 10 – in Orikhovo.

– There are cases of burning abandoned homes or damage without spreading fire. This is not always reported, because now it happens dozens of times a day, – explains the head of the regional military administration Serhiy Haidai.

Also in the morning of April 29, the Russian army fired on a school building in the new district of Severodonetsk.

Later it became known about the damage to another educational institution in the city.

In total, during the day in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed 14 enemy attacks, destroying:

11 tanks,
seven artillery systems,
28 units of armored vehicles,
14 cars.

Air defense units shot down a plane and seven unmanned aerial vehicles.
