SSU examination confirmed that Kramatorsk railway station was shelled by occupiers from Point U

The SSU examination showed that missiles hit the railway station in Kramatorsk from the occupied Donetsk region.

This was reported in the press center of the SSU.

We will remind that insidious attack happened on April 8. At that time there were dozens of people on the platform of the station, including children. The strike killed 61 people and injured 121.

The SSU analyzed the trajectory of the missile and compared other aspects. Thus, it was established that the blow was struck from the territory of Donetsk region, which has been under temporary occupation of Russia since 2014.

According to experts, the occupiers used a guided single-stage solid-propellant missile 9M79-1 with a cartridge charge, better known as Point U, to fire.

According to the SSU, several Point U complexes are located in the occupied territories of Donbas and have been used by invaders for eight years.

Earlier, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration Pavlo Kyrylenko said that investigators have already completed their work on collecting evidence confirming Russia’s involvement in the shelling of the railway station in Kramatorsk.

He said at the time that the shelling had killed 57 civilians and injured 109 others.
