MLRS and tanks are used: the occupiers fired on the Sumy region from the territory of the Russian Federation

On May 21, the Russian occupiers shelled the Sumy region. It is currently known that it has reached the settlements of the Bilopil community and the Sumy district.

The information about the shelling of Sumy region was officially confirmed by the head of the regional military administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi.

He stressed that today the enemy fired from tanks, MLRS (missile systems of volley fire) and artillery.

– Sumshchina. Situation with shelling at 15.30. Almost at 9 a.m., Russia shelled the territories of the Bilopillya community from its territory. Also more than an hour the enemy conducts fire from the territory from rocket systems of volley fire across the territory of the Sumy area, – Dmytro Zhyvytskyi reported.

No casualties have been reported so far on May 21.

The head of the Sumy RMA assured that he would provide all the details clarified by the relevant services in the near future.
