Due to mistakes of commanders: in Izyum almost all 35 general army of the Russian Federation was destroyed
In Izyum, Kharkiv region, almost the entire 35th All-Russian Army was destroyed.
Significant losses of 64 and 38 individual Guards motorized infantry brigades were suffered due to the incompetence of Russian commanders, according to experts from the Institute for War Studies (ISW), citing a Russian blogger under the pseudonym Fighting Cat Murz.
Currently, these brigades, the blogger notes, number less than 100 servicemen.
And all because Russian commanders did not take into account the combat challenges in the raisin forests.
– Fighting cat Murz claims that Russian commanders did not provide the units with the necessary equipment for fighting in the woods, and also did not repair heavy artillery in time, – the blogger told ISW.
In addition, according to the Institute for the Study of War, the Russian military did not have effective communication with command centers and relied on messengers due to the lack of encrypted phones.
– Fighting Cat Murz reports that the lack of communication between Russian units and the commander has allowed Ukrainian troops to strike drones at Russia’s forward positions, – the ISW said.
There was no significant advance on the Izium axis also because the servicemen of Wagner’s Russian private military company also refused to take part in the fighting.
ISW emphasizes that although they cannot yet confirm the statements of the Russian blogger, they are consistent with previous reports of Russian operations and significant losses on the Izium axis.
