The city is conditionally divided in half: Haidai on the situation in Severodonetsk

The Russians controlled about 70 percent of Severodonetsk. However, the Ukrainian military drove them back within two days, so the city is now conditionally divided in half.
This was reported by the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Haidai. According to him, over the past few days, the Russian occupiers have lost a huge number of personnel, eight Russians were taken prisoner.
– But as of today, Dvornikov, a general of the Russian army, has been given the task of either capturing Severodonetsk completely or completely cutting the Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway and taking control of it by June 10. So now a huge amount of forces, all that the occupants had, all the reserves are thrown to perform these two tasks,” Haidai said.
The head of the Luhansk RMA added that about 30 enemy shells hit the humanitarian headquarters building in Lysychansk at night.
In Severodonetsk, a Russian artillery fire damaged the premises of the instrumentation and automation shop on the territory of the Azot association.
During the day, apart from Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Ustinovka, Vrubivka, and Toshkivka were also under fire from artillery and multiple rocket launchers.
According to the AFU General Staff, as of June 5, the Russian occupiers controlled the eastern part of Severodonetsk.
