Arestovych named the estimated losses of the Ukrainian army in the war with Russia

Втрати України у війні з РФ: Арестович озвучив приблизні цифри

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, February 24, 2022, up to 10,000 Ukrainian servicemen have died in the war.

Such figures were voiced by Oleksiy Arestovich, advisor to the head of the President’s Office, on the air of Feygin LIVE.

– We had an average of 100 fighters per day in the first 20-30 days at the beginning of the conflict, and the Russian army had 1,000. Now they have 200-300 dead, no less,” he said.

Asked by Feygin whether Ukraine had already lost about 10,000 soldiers, Arestovich said that the figure was about the same.

As a reminder, Ukraine does not voice the exact war casualties among the AFU military. But on June 9, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that we lose up to 100 of our soldiers killed every day at the front. Another 500 or so are wounded daily.

At the same time, Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, also said earlier that Ukrainian military losses were 100 to 200 people a day.

According to him, one of the main reasons for a large number of losses is the lack of parity between Ukrainian and Russian military capabilities.
