Occupiers unsuccessfully storm Severodonetsk – AFU General Staff

The 12 June assault actions resorted to by the Russian military in Severodonetsk, Luhansk Region, were unsuccessful.

This was reported in a morning briefing by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Currently, the fighting is taking place in the area of Toshkivka.

The Ukrainian defenders also successfully resisted the enemy’s assault actions in Severodonetsk the day before.

In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to repel an assault by the Russians near Metelkino.

After that, the occupiers had to withdraw and reinforce the grouping with reserve units.

The full-scale war in Ukraine is now on its 109th day.
