More than 4,000 Ukrainians passed through torture chambers created by the Russian occupiers during the 8 years of war in Ukraine, including on the territory of ORDLO.
This was announced on a telethon by the head of the war department of the Office of the Prosecutor General Yuri Belousov.
– About 200 places for illegal detention of our citizens in the territory of “LDNR” in which they were tortured, – he added.
According to him, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, most cases of torture and ill-treatment have been recorded in three oblasts: Kherson – 342, Kyiv – 166 and Chernihiv – more than 100.
Belousov noted that these data confirm that torture is commonplace for Russian soldiers, as they themselves are often subjected to violence in the army.
He said that the UCP had identified many people involved in the organization of the Isolation torture chamber in Donetsk, including one of its executioners, Denis Kulikovsky.
