An offensive by Belarus in the coming days is unlikely. After all, the Belarusian units need to be reinforced by Russian troops.

Military expert Oleksandr Musienko reported this on the air of the national telethon. He noted that today there is no visible movement of Russian troops in large numbers to prepare for the deployment of groups that could move in the direction of Ukraine.

– Currently, Belarus is conducting various maneuvers and trying to keep the situation tense. Now we are seeing another round of exercises – the mobilization reserves are being checked, which will last until July 15. At least that’s how they advertise it.

Indeed, today, according to various estimates, there are about 5,000 military personnel near the border. Their number did not increase significantly. By July 15, we will see whether their number will increase as a result of mobilization preparation and checking of reserves. How the situation may develop will depend on this. But a large strike group of troops is not yet visible – explained the expert.

Oleksandr Musienko also added: if the Belarusian authorities take such a senseless and unsuccessful step, it will only accelerate the fall of both the Putin and Belarusian regimes.

After all, first of all, this is an unjustified step from a military point of view. And, secondly, such actions can provoke processes in Belarus itself, when part of the Belarusian military may go to Minsk, not Kyiv.
