The Russians prevailed tenfold during the capture of Lysychansk – Gaidai
During the attack on Lysychansk, the Russians outnumbered them tenfold, now the occupiers are already gaining a foothold in the city.
This was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Gaidai.
– Even on the last day of the defense of Lysychansk under heavy fire, medics hospitalized the wounded, firefighters saved the city, and the police recorded crimes.
They kept the line even when it seemed impossible. The Russians prevailed tenfold. This influx was destroying the city and killing people, – Gaidai reported.
Many wounded local residents were taken to hospitals in Dnipro, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk.
– The Russian army gathered forces from all possible directions and concentrated them in Lysychansk. We neutralized their superiority in personnel with the skill of Ukrainian fighters. However, the amount of long-range weapons necessary to push out the enemy has not yet arrived.
The occupiers gained a foothold in Lysychansk. They managed to force the river Siverskyi Donets, so that in the fifth month of the war they captured Bilogorivka. Zolotarivka is already under the control of the Russians, – added the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.
