Mines dangerous directions: the AFU is preparing for a possible Russian attack from the north

Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev visited the positions of AFU troops and border guards in the Northern Operational Zone, which have become a strong shield to prevent the enemy from giving any chance to repeat the offensive from the north.

– At present, the situation is fully controlled by military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, units of the State Border Guard Service, and units of other military formations and police forces. Every day our defenders carry out a set of measures to improve the engineering equipment of defense positions,” assured Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev.

According to him, measures to mine dangerous areas and equip engineering barriers are being taken now.
Units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are taking measures to strengthen the state border of Ukraine in all dangerous and threatening directions.

As a reminder, from the very beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Belarus provided its territory as a springboard for the attack of the aggressor’s troops. Earlier, military expert Oleksandr Musiyenko said whether an offensive by Belarus is possible in the coming days or weeks.
