The number of anti-aircraft defenses is crazy: Danilov on why the occupiers strengthened the defense of the Crimean Bridge
The Russian invaders began to protect the Crimean Bridge with “an insane number” of air defense systems.
This was announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov in an interview with Radio NV.
– They are tense now over the Crimean bridge. It is very carefully guarded. Training takes place there almost every day. The amount of anti-aircraft defense that was installed to protect this object is insane, – he noted.
According to Danilov, such actions of the Russians indicate that they are quite serious about the weapons that the Armed Forces already have.
– They treat us very seriously, which you and I have not seen before. They believed that we have no army, no will, no effort to defend our country. With this, they came here on February 24, – added the secretary of the NSDCU.
We will remind, back in April, Danilov stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were ready to strike at the Crimean Bridge at the first opportunity. But so far, Ukraine does not have such long-range weapons.
The Crimean (Kerch) Bridge is an illegally built bridge across the Kerch Strait that connects the Russian-occupied Crimea and the territory of the Russian Federation. On the bridge, the Russian Federation transfers its troops and equipment to the territory of Crimea, and then to the south of Ukraine.
