A sharp transfer of hostilities near Kyiv is impossible, the threat of missile strikes remains – Zaluzhny

Валерій Залужний

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Valery Zaluzhny, claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed out enemy troops from Kyiv and organized a reliable defense of the capital, so the Russian army will not be able to attack in this direction, but the threat of airstrikes remains relevant.

– In February-March, battles took place near Kyiv. However, we managed to organize a reliable defense of the capital and dislodge the enemy troops. We are currently strengthening our defenses. Appropriate groups of troops were created to protect the city. Therefore, a sharp transfer of hostilities near Kyiv is impossible, – believes Zaluzhny.

The Commander-in-Chief added that the main danger for Ukrainians as of now is missile strikes.

At the same time, defenders of Ukraine, as Zaluzhny noted, shot down many of the enemy’s missiles.
