Gaidai named the main direction of the invaders after Lysychansk
The Russians are trying to advance from Lysychansk towards Bakhmut. Mobilized men from recently occupied cities went into battle.
This was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiу Gaidai. According to him, 10-15% of the population remained in the large cities of Luhansk Region, which the Russians captured in the summer.
Unfortunately, they did not perceive the information about the mobilization of men in the previously occupied part of the region, did not see a threat to themselves.
Serhiy Gaidai emphasized that the main direction of the occupiers after Lysychansk is Bakhmut. But the way to this city runs through the small territory of Luhansk region that still holds defenses.
According to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the occupiers are firing rockets and using aviation to break through our defenses. On July 17, settlements on the border of Luhansk region and Donetsk region withstood five airstrikes.
The Russians also tried to advance in the direction of Verkhnokamyanka, but suffered losses and retreated. In addition, the Armed Forces repulsed the offensive near Bilogorivka.
