Ukraine is leaving behind the era of the Russian lobby – Podolyak

Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said that Ukraine is leaving behind the era of the Russian lobby.
He wrote about this in his Telegram.
According to the adviser, unpunished evil returns, and uncorrected mistakes are repeated.
– Today, in Ukraine, the pro-Russian political and economic infrastructure, which was assembled from the wreckage of the USSR by the Russian special services immediately after the renewal of independence, is being dismantled, Podolyak emphasized.
He specified that the closure of pro-Russian TV channels, arrests of “Russian peace” messengers, the clearing of special services from traitors in uniform and, finally, criminal suspicions against the former ministers of justice and foreign affairs of the Yanukovych era – Lavrynovych and Hryshchenko – are “a clear response of the system and work on the mistakes of the past” .
– No one will be able to change the country anymore by lobbying for the interests of Russia in public positions in Ukraine. Of course, the question of the composition of the crime, the validity of the suspicion and the admissibility of the evidence will be established by the court in an open, transparent and democratic process, the adviser said.
However, even today, in his opinion, it can be stated that a whole layer of media escort, which contributed to Russian influence in Ukraine, has remained in the past.
– The political foundation of the country, as well as its information matrix, are undergoing tectonic changes today… And with them, the Ukrainian people also get a chance for a new, high-quality future and an open, honest, responsible policy, – he summarized.
