Russia is able to conduct an offensive in only two directions – ISW

The Russian military, most likely, is now capable of conducting only two significant offensive operations in Ukraine, namely the offensives on Siversk and Bakhmut in the Donetsk region.
This was announced by the American Institute for the Study of War.
Since the end of the operational pause on July 16, the attack on Siversk has been taking place from the Verkhnokamyanka and Bilogorivka districts, and from the Novoluhansk and Vuglegirsk Thermal Power Stations in the Bakhmut direction.
Russian forces have committed enough resources to launch near-daily ground attacks and seize territory on these two fronts, but they have not been able to sustain the same pace of offensive or achieve similar territorial gains elsewhere in Ukraine, – analysts said.
