In Kherson region, hundreds of villages were in a critical situation due to hostilities, some were completely destroyed.
This was reported by Kherson RMA on Sunday, July 31.
– Active hostilities continue in the Kherson region. In hundreds of villages of the region, the situation is critical: roads have been destroyed, houses and schools have been destroyed, fields and rivers have been mined, there have been fires in forests, and civilians have been injured and killed. Some villages have been without electricity and water for 5 months, and people in such villages have not received pensions and social benefits since March, – the report says.
RMA clarifies that people are forced to flee to unoccupied territory or to neighboring villages, as a result of which communities appeared where up to 10 people remained to live, and some villages were completely destroyed.
It is also clarified that the region has been without Ukrainian mobile operators for two months. Only wired internet works, but the traffic goes through neighboring Russia, which is why most services are blocked and work only with a VPN.
Meanwhile, the blocking of traffic on the Antonivsky bridge led to the fact that the prices of food and hygiene products in the occupied part of the region increased by 2-3 times.
– The occupiers organized a paid ferry crossing, with the help of which they also transfer their equipment, – added to RMA.
