Two more people died: the number of victims of shelling in Dnipropetrovsk region increased to 13

The number of victims of the night shelling of the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region on August 10 has increased to 13.

Updated at 09.43. In the morning, two wounded people died in Marganets hospital.

– The doctors fought, but could not save them… – said the head of the regional military administration Valentіn Reznichenko.

11 people were injured. Five of them are in serious condition.

On the night of August 10, Russian troops shelled the Nikopol district twice from Grads.

The Russian army directed 80 rockets at residential areas.

– The enemy deliberately and insidiously struck when people were sleeping in their homes, – reported the head of the Regional Military Administration.

Marganets and Myrivska communities also came under fire.

At seven o’clock in the morning, there were ten dead and 11 injured in Marganets. Ten people were hospitalized, seven of them were in serious condition.

In the city, more than 20 high-rise buildings, the Center for the provision of administrative services, the palace of culture, a dormitory, two schools, the building of the city council and several other administrative premises were mutilated.

The power line is out of order. Several thousand residents of the city are without electricity. Emergency teams of electricians are working.

One woman died in Vyshchetarasivka of Myrivska communitу – her house was completely destroyed by an enemy shell.

Spouses were injured. A woman with moderate injuries is in the hospital. Her husband is being treated at home.

11 private houses and gas furnaces were damaged in the village. According to Valentin Reznichenko, about a thousand people were left without gas.
