The Russians are again shelling the ZNPP, the mayor called on residents to be careful
The Russian invaders are preparing another provocation in the temporarily occupied Energodar, Zaporizhzhya region.
The mayor of Energodar, Dmytro Orlov, announced this on the Telegram channel.
— Information has been received about further provocations by the occupiers. According to the testimony of local residents, shelling is again taking place from the area of the park zone in the direction of the Zaporizhzhya NPP and the industrial area. The interval between departure and arrival is 3-5 seconds, he wrote.
He called on the city’s residents to be careful and, if possible, to limit their stay on the streets of Energodar.
Today, August 13, the GUR of the Ministry of Defense reported that the occupiers are shelling the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant from the neighboring village of Vodyane (Zaporizhzhya region) and are preparing provocations under the Ukrainian flag in the vicinity of the NPP.
Earlier, Orlov reported that half of the residents left the city after the start of the full-scale invasion. Before the full-scale Russian invasion, the population of Energodar was 53,000.
Currently, the number of residents of Energodar who express their desire to evacuate the city is increasing.
